The Dude Abides (and Takes Pictures)
I’m not into the whole brevity thing, so I’ll keep it simple. I’ve been chasing light since I was a little achiever. Back then, it was all about film—the smell of the chemicals, the wait, the whole "natural, man" vibe.
Then things got digital. It’s a bit of a rollercoaster, but after a long trip through megapixels and sensors, I found myself right back where I started: Analog. There’s just something about film that really ties the room together. It’s got a soul.
When I’m not behind the lens, I’m looking at things even smaller than a grain of film. I’m a virologist and prionist. Yeah, I deal with the tiny strands that make the world go 'round. It’s a lot of strikes and gutters, but it keeps the mind limber.
It’s a big world out there, and I’m just trying to capture a bit of it. So, take it easy, have a look around, and remember: The Dude abides (and takes pictures)
